Pricing and payment policy
In the formulation of our pricing policy, we aim to ensure that from the time you arrive your Royal Malewane experience begins.
Cancellation policy
| 8 to 4 weeks before travel |
25% of total accommodation fee |

50% of total accommodation fee |
| 2 weeks before travel |
100% of total accommodation fee |
Deposit policy
A 50% deposit is payable within seven days from date of confirmation, with the balance due fourteen days prior to guests arrrival at the lodge.
Bank charges
All transfers of funds should be made net of any charges.
Credit cards
All major credit cards are accepted.
Child Policy
No children under 12, unless entire lodge or Royal & Malewane Suites are booked with all the private services.
Malaria
Royal Malewane is situated in a low-risk malaria-area. We recommend that all our guests consult with their physician regarding anti-malaria prophylactics. This medication needs to be taken prior to arrival at Royal Malewane.
Smoking policy
For the comfort of others we ask guests not to smoke in their rooms. Fire is always a concern as a threat to the animals and thatch roofed buildings. We have therefore designated certain areas to be set aside where guests can still enjoy lighting up!
Private drive policy
Private drives are subject to availability and can be arranged upon request at an additional charge.
Tipping policy
The staff at Royal Malewane would like you to know that they do not expect individual tips. However, guests who would like to show their appreciation can do so by contributing to a staff gratuity fund which is distributed once a month. The guideline that we suggest is Rands 150 per personper day and may be offered at the end of your stay and placed in the envelope provided in your suite.This is however entirely at your own discretion.
Age, disability, health & special food requirements
Royal Malewane will make every effort to accommodate the needs of guests. At the time of booking, please provide full details of any disabilities, infirmities or any special health or food requirements which may require special attention.
Medical assistance
In the event of illness or injury we have a doctor on call and in the event of an emergency have access to paramedics and doctors in the area. If necessary patients will be airlifted to the best equipped hosptital in the country for that particular emergency.
